Confidentiality

At the Miriam Project, protecting your privacy is among our utmost priorities. Whether you are an expectant mother or a family wishing to adopt, you have an expectation of complete privacy throughout the creation of your adoption plan. All of our operations are based upon that inherent expectation.

As determined by both parties in an adoption plan, you may choose to proceed with an open or semi-open adoption. However, the openness of your adoption merely reflects your personal willingness to engage in regular contact with the other party in your adoption plan. In no way does it affect the security of your information and records at the Miriam Project.

For more information about confidentiality laws or open and closed adoptions with the Miriam Project, please contact us or see our Frequently Asked Questions section for adoptive families and birth parents.
