Looking To Adopt
The idea of participating in an adoption can be overwhelming. It is both an exciting and challenging experience. Rest assured that when you call The Miriam Project, you will find a supportive, helpful, and caring person who will listen to your concerns and answer your questions. Whether you have just begun considering adoption or you would like to adopt again, we would be happy to discuss the process with you.
The Miriam Project will then conduct a Home Study, which involves visits to your home where your environment and family may be observed. You will be asked to sign the following statement of faith.
Statement of Faith
The Miriam Project is seeking those families that can embrace the following Statement of Faith:
- I affirm the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
- I have a commitment to living a Christian lifestyle.
- I endeavor to live in accordance with Biblical principles.
- I am actively involved in a faith community.
- I am committed to following the example of Christ in all I do, including parenting.
- I endeavor to follow Christ in a way that I can model for my children a Christian lifestyle.
